Wilmington Conservatory has entertained and delighted audiences at the Wilson Center as a resident company performing original productions of “The Sleeping Beauty,” “The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, ““Cinderella,” “Hope Has Come,” “Pinocchio,” “Masterworks,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Americana,” “ The Nutcracker “, “Come Alive”, “Peter Pan”, and many other beloved fan favorites since 2007.
We are proud to present original, high-quality productions at the renowned Wilson Center in Downtown Wilmington, offering all WCFA students a chance to perform in a professional, state-of-the-art venue twice a year. Our performances feature not only classical ballet, but also a wide array of original works choreographed, composed, and directed by our director Cory Smith, talented faculty, and guest artists. These unique productions reflect the creativity and innovation fostered at WCFA, providing a platform for emerging artists to showcase their art. Our performances at the Wilson Center are a celebration of both classical training and artistic originality. For students, performing in these original works cultivates confidence, and allows them to experience the professional world of the arts firsthand right here in ILM.
